Stoney Creek Hotel Peoria

For a two star hotel this place punches way above its weight. Tabatha made sure our room was clean, Sue F. was very attentive at breakfast. One of the better continental breakfasts I’ve had too. No complaints. Would stay again. One of the better values I’ve ever had for hotels.

This is a great spot to stop with comfy beds and a good breakfast. Every employee we encounter was super nice. Especially Sue F. in the kitchen/breakfast area. She asked if we needed anything and let us know what was all available. The breakfast sitting area was clean and was kept well stocked.

Breakfast with Sue F was delicious. Everyone very friendly and welcoming. Pool was warm and delightful. Kids really enjoyed there stay, as did I. Really appreciate the atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to all staying in the area. Thanks again for your hospitality. Very refreshing this Day and age . Sincerely The Bennett Family room 312 :)

Hotel is designed cute with faux exposed wood beams and a rustic, nautical vibe. The rooms were clean and smelled good. Breakfast was fairly typical food, but is definitely a nice perk. Sue F (food hostess) was very friendly and attentive. Overall, a great hotel (location, price, and amenities) if traveling in the Peoria area. And a pretty decent value as it wasn’t nearly as expensive as the hotels that are closer to the Civic Center. Definitely worth driving a few extra minutes to this one!

Stony Creek is excellent for travel With its rustic atmosphere such as wooden chairs and tables in the breakfast area. The dresser looked like an old fashioned steamer trunk with nonn- working locks. The large moose head was admired by my brother-in-law. . All the stafff were attentive including the breakfast attendant Sue F. I loved that my room had a microwave and a refrigerator. We stayed midweek , and the price was great.

I absolutely loved our stay! The best part was waking up early for breakfast. Sue F definitely made my morning. How do you leave a hotel breakfast looking like a bum but feeling like a superstar? Um…. Sue! That’s how. She made me feel amazing. Helped me so much. Gave me great tips. She’s a blast! That lady needs to be running the show! I will be back just to see her.

I love this hotel. The customer service and atmosphere were great. I felt like I was at home. I want to first start with Jessica Maybiss (bartender) she was so nice. She was helping another guest to their room and noticed I was having trouble with my door and she assist me. Then not realizing when I went to eat she was the bartender and she took really good care of me. Now breakfast, I was so impressed. Sue F greeted me instantly . She talked with me and engaged everyone there. The breakfast setup was really nice and very clean. Thank to all the staff also want to say Jessica M at the Front desk was nice as well.

Very accommodating staff in person. The requirement that all remote communication be done in email or text and not a phone call is hit or miss and was frustrating. The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. The location is convenient and again quiet. Sue does a great job with breakfast and is very personable and joyful.
